Improving Business Confidence In Suffolk Police

Good and proactive communication and the performance of the force is essential to improving business confidence. There needs to be:


•    Improved visibility and detection rates as more officers are recruited.

 
•    Easier and improved communication with business including relevant social media.


•    Regular engagement opportunities with business owners and membership organisations using a variety of mediums – such as early morning Zoom discussions, participation by business representatives twice yearly to help with policing performance accountability meetings and monitor the progress of the new Suffolk Police and Crime Plan.


•    Themed specific discussions according to demand. For example, rural crime, town entry management, cyber crime, fraud; other ideas from within the business community will be welcomed.


•    Joint hosting of an annual half day seminar / business conference as required by business.

 
•    Maximising the spending of the police budget in Suffolk is a very clear commitment.
